Description: This corpus comprises a Full Set of 2415 vocalizations and a more refined Core Set of 1458 vocalizations with precise emotional categorization. These vocalizations were obtained from 164 Mandarin speakers from China, encompassing five emotion categories: happiness, sadness, fear, anger, and neutrality. Additionally, we provide a complementary database that includes subjective evaluation and acoustic analysis data for all the sounds within the CNEV corpus. These evaluations were conducted following psychological experimental paradigms, covering four aspects: emotion category, valence, arousal, and gender. The results confirm the high reliability and validity of the CNEV corpus.
